PirateBattle.io is an action-packed game where you battle other pirate ships and collect coins to upgrade your vessel. Destroyed ships drop coins that they have collected, so be on the lookout for these valuable rewards.
Customize your ship by changing its sail colors and selecting from over 200 flags available in the customization menu to make your ship truly unique.
How to Play PirateBattle.io
Shoot at enemy ships to deal damage. It takes about 4 hits to sink a small ship without upgrades and up to 10 hits for larger ships with heavy armor. Sail close to coins to collect them, which will heal your ship when picked up.
Controls:
- Mouse: Move and shoot
- Spacebar: Boost
- 1, 2, 3, 4: Upgrade your ship (if you can afford it)
Note: There is a 1-second cooldown for shooting and a 3-second cooldown for boosting.
PirateBattle.io Strategy
You can choose which parts of your ship to upgrade once you have enough coins. There are four categories of upgrades:
- Health: Increases your HP and ship size, making it easier to hit.
- Speed: Makes your ship faster, but may affect your turning radius.
- Armor: Reduces damage taken from incoming bullets.
- Damage: Increases your damage and bullet range.
Each upgrade starts at level 1 and can be upgraded up to level 8. As the level increases, the upgrades become more expensive.
Battle Tactics
- In the early game, avoid 1v1 battles with larger ships that have full health. You can identify damaged ships by their fire.
- Destroyed ships drop coins, so use your boost to get there before others can collect the reward.
- When battling ships of equal strength, try to get behind them like in a dogfight to land a good shot.
- If you collide with another ship, you’ll be slowed down. Use your boost to escape or reposition.
- If you’re playing with a friend, you can work together by using collisions to slow down enemy ships, making them easier to target.
